Altitude Software is a leading unified communications solutions for businesses. It has a full range of software products geared to this end: IP telephone exchanges, management of inbound and outbound, workstation contact center, marking predictive queuing unified message (calls, emails, sms), management of customer interaction recording, robot voice, etc.
Founded in 1992 as EasyPhone, currently has a staff of 250 employees and has offices in 13 countries. Sales in 2010 amounted to 35 MM € and has more than 800 installations worldwide and over 170,000 active users.
Altitude Software is growing consistently over 20% annually and EBITDA margins on sales exceed 15%.

The Cloud Security Company
Founded in 1990, Panda Security is the worldwide leader in cloud based security solutions. Panda Security was the first computer security company in exploiting the potential of “Cloud Computing” with its Collective Intelligence technology. This innovative security model can analyze and automatically classify thousands of new malware samples a day, providing to corporate customers and to home users the most effective protection against Internet threats with minimal impact on PC performance. The sales were 100 million in 2009, has 700 employees and 4 million computers have its products installed in more than 100 countries.
About half of its sales correspond to companies under the formula of full-service Managed Security from the cloud. Offers complete solution for malware, spam and content analysis of network unattended. The service began in 2008 and experienced growth exceeding 50%.
We participate with a 21% stake.
Optimization of the quality and the IT performance
Optimyth is a Spanish company positioned in the segment of software edition for the global management of quality and of the software assets of the company.
In its third year of activity, Optimyth doubled revenues to 5MM € in 2010 and boosted EBITDA margin to software leading companies levels.
After our incorporation as owners, branches have been established in the UK and Israel and the opening of Brazil is foreseen during 2011.
Investing PROFit Wisely was part of the founding team of the technology based start-up BKOOL in 2008, with a 45% stake.
The objective of BKOOL is to provide an incentive to sport through the use of information technologies and the Internet. In November 2010 we launched our first product, cycling oriented. Its main features are:
- A social site with facilities for uploading circuits and specific training plans as well as the standard functionality of forums and chats.
- A mechanical part (roller), PC steered, which simulates the resistance of an indoor stage program to be held by a group of participants.
- A video game where participants can monitor on a screen (with avatars) the placing and progress of each one of them during the race.
- A card with antennas that collect and record information from the sensors useful to monitor the sports activity (speed, distance, pedaling cadence, heart rate monitor, calories, etc.)
BKOOL plans to expand to other sports and its international expansion starting in 2011.
Investing PROFit Wisely participates with a 22% stake in MiRubi Internet in 2010, organization that manages the Internet portal BeRuby.com.
The Spanish site that pays users to surf
BeRuby is a portal’s model where anyone can set his page with all his favorite services and where registered users get paid for their activities, be it a search, a discovery, purchase, register for a community, register comments, propose ideas or participate in surveys, activities can be infinite. The user not only gains for the business that it makes, it can also invite others to join his network and receive income from the activity generated by them.
Born in 2007, after three years running, by January 2011 had over 1 million subscribers (800,000 in Spain) and more than 2,000 advertisers in the world (400 in Spain), including Telepizza, Springfield, eBay, miapuesta.com, Fnac, Hotels.com, Yahoo, eDreams, Dell, Apple, Alsa and Catch. BeRuby closed 2010 with a million euros in turnover and strong growth in revenues and users.
